Description

Delightful chocolate cookies with a soft center and a festive powdered sugar coating, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar, for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Chill dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  7. Scoop out portions of dough and roll into balls; roll in powdered sugar.
  8. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack before serving.
