A comforting and hearty Tuna Pasta Bake that combines creamy melted cheese with pasta and tuna for a delicious family meal.

- 300g pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 can tuna in oil or water, drained
- 1 can sweet corn, drained
- 400g can chopped tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200g cheese (cheddar or mozzarella), grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sautéed onion and garlic, tuna, sweet corn, and chopped tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the mixture into a baking dish and top with grated cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
For flavor variations, consider adding red bell peppers or spinach. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
