- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 1 box instant strawberry pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup whipped topping
- Fresh strawberries for garnish
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Combine the strawberry cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow the cake to cool completely. In another bowl, whisk together the instant strawberry pudding mix and milk until it thickens. Fold in the whipped topping.
- Spread the pudding mixture over the cooled cake and garnish with fresh strawberries. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the batter.
