Description

A delightful and whimsical dessert that combines rich cake, fresh strawberries, and a creamy topping, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of yellow or white cake mix
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup of shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries into the batter.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth, then spoon it over the batter and swirl it in.
  5. Top with coconut and chopped nuts if using.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting and serve.

Notes
