Description
A delightful dessert that combines a crunchy graham cracker crust, creamy cheesecake filling, and fresh strawberries.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix together the crushed graham crackers, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool completely.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
- Spread half of the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust. Layer the sliced strawberries on top and drizzle with strawberry jam. Pour the remaining cheesecake mixture over the strawberries, smoothing the top evenly.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Before serving, top with additional fresh strawberries and crushed graham crackers if desired.
Notes
For smoother filling, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature. Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
