- 1 cup frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- Chocolate or candy melts (green for decoration)
- Lollipop sticks
- Sprinkles (green and gold for decoration)
Instructions
- Bake the cake according to the package instructions and let it cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the frosting until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the cake balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
- Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and then insert it into the center of each cake ball.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Place them back on the lined baking sheet and add sprinkles for decoration.
- Let the chocolate set by allowing the cake pops to cool completely before serving.
Notes
Store cake pops in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Allow to come to room temperature before serving.
