Description

A warm crumble filled with sweet and tart seasonal fruits, enhanced with spices for a cozy dessert experience.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, diced
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss together the sliced pears, mixed berries, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add the diced cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the fruit mixture evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  5. Allow the crumble to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
