- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces egg noodles
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Once tender, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté until onions are translucent and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until tender, stirring occasionally, for about 4-5 minutes. Stir in the sliced beef and cook until browned, approximately 5 minutes.
- Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Allow to simmer for about 5-7 minutes. Reduce heat, mix in sour cream, and season with salt and pepper. Serve over cooked egg noodles.
Notes
For best results, serve immediately while warm and creamy. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
