- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Cream together until fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, blending on low speed until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
- Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, portion out the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Centers may look slightly underbaked.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a chewy texture, underbake the cookies slightly. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
