Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually blend dry ingredients into wet mixture.
- Fold in chopped apples, walnuts (if using), and oats.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on baking sheets briefly, then transfer to wire racks.
Notes
