- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, carrots, snap peas)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 4 green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add sliced chicken breast and cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the cooked lo mein noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Toss everything together and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve warm.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce for 15-30 minutes before cooking. Feel free to customize with other proteins or spice it up with sriracha.
