Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pistachio paste
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Combine the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Gradually stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just incorporated.
  5. Fill each donut cavity halfway with batter, add a teaspoon of pistachio paste, and top with more batter.
  6. Bake the donuts for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing.
  8. Dust the warm donuts with powdered sugar before serving.
