Description

Fluffy, baked donuts infused with rich pistachio cream, topped with powdered sugar for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pistachio cream (or pistachio paste)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fill each donut cavity about 2/3 full with the batter and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Remove the donuts from the oven and cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Once cooled, poke a hole in each donut and fill it with pistachio cream.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar just before serving.
