Description

Tender beef sirloin with vibrant bell peppers and onions, slow-cooked to perfection in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds of beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup of beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a crock pot, layer the sliced beef, bell pepper, and onion.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Pour the mixture over the beef and vegetables in the crock pot, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
  5. Once cooked, stir the mixture gently and serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For a healthier twist, serve over quinoa. To make it spicier, add crushed red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños.
