- 1 egg
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually mix into wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
- Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine corn syrup and maple syrup, then spoon a small amount over each cookie dough ball.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set and lightly golden. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a twist, try using walnuts or almonds in place of pecans.
