- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter and granulated sugar together until smooth.
- Stir in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and evenly spread it to create a base layer.
- Melt the peanut butter slightly and drizzle it over the brownie layer.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl it with a knife.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
