Description

Peach Hand Pies are delightful bite-sized treats featuring a golden crust filled with warm, luscious peaches, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Cinnamon sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine diced peaches, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface and cut into circles, about 4-5 inches in diameter.
  3. Place a spoonful of the peach mixture on one half of each circle. Be sure not to overfill.
  4. Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops of the hand pies with egg wash and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  6. Fry the hand pies in hot oil until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use ripe, in-season peaches for the best flavor. Can also experiment with spices or use frozen peaches if fresh aren’t available.
