A delightful twist on traditional ice cream featuring a crispy, golden crust and sweet, juicy ripe peaches.
Ingredients

- 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
- 1 large peach, diced
- 1 cup of cornflakes, crushed
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- Oil for frying
- Whipped cream and cherry for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Roll the ice cream into small balls and freeze until solid, about 120 minutes.
- Combine the crushed cornflakes, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Dip the frozen ice cream balls in flour, coat them in beaten egg, and roll them in the cornflake mixture.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer over medium heat and fry the coated balls until golden brown, about 10-15 seconds.
- Remove the fried ice cream balls and drain them on paper towels. Serve immediately with diced peaches, whipped cream, and a cherry on top.
Notes
For best results, use very firm ice cream and fresh peaches. Fried ice cream is best enjoyed immediately.
