Description

A nostalgic recipe for classic Nestle chocolate chip cookies that brings warmth and joy into any kitchen.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, packed brown sugar, and salt until creamy.
  4. Add in the pure vanilla extract and eggs; beat well until combined.
  5. Gradually mix the flour mixture into the wet ingredients until smooth.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool on baking sheets for a couple of minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

For better flavor, consider chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Use parchment paper on baking sheets for even baking.
