Description
A delightful one-pan meal combining tender chicken breasts, crisp green beans, and a rich lemon garlic butter sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Start by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat slightly and add the butter along with the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute.
- Add the trimmed green beans and lemon juice to the skillet. Stir to combine, then cook for about 5 minutes until the green beans are tender yet crisp.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Serve warm, drizzling any remaining sauce over the top.
Notes
