Description
Delightful croissants filled with a rich cream filling, perfect for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of croissant dough
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cream cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the croissant dough and separate it into triangles.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- If you’d like an extra creamy texture, mix in the softened cream cheese until combined.
- Place a generous dollop of the cream mixture at the wider end of each triangle.
- Roll the croissants from the wide end to the pointed end, tucking in the cream as you go.
- Place the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once baked, let the croissants cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, ideally right after cooling. Try pairing with fresh fruit or chocolate sauce.
