Description

Delightful croissants filled with a rich cream filling, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of croissant dough
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the croissant dough and separate it into triangles.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  3. If you’d like an extra creamy texture, mix in the softened cream cheese until combined.
  4. Place a generous dollop of the cream mixture at the wider end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the croissants from the wide end to the pointed end, tucking in the cream as you go.
  6. Place the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Once baked, let the croissants cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, ideally right after cooling. Try pairing with fresh fruit or chocolate sauce.
