Description

Delightful sweet and buttery cookies infused with the rich flavors of vanilla and almond, perfect for festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract; mix until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
