Description
These delectable bites are golden brown and crispy on the outside, with a rich, cheesy interior flavored with garlic and fresh parsley. Perfect for snacks or appetizers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper until evenly combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg until it’s well beaten. Add this egg to the cheese mixture and stir until all ingredients are thoroughly blended into a sticky dough.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into bite-sized balls or patties. Make sure they are compact enough to hold together during cooking.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Carefully place the bites in the pan, frying until they turn golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and let them drain on paper towels.
Notes
Serve warm with a dipping sauce such as marinara. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
