- 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (for coating)
- Cocoa powder or sprinkles (for decoration)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chopped white chocolate and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and fully combined.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 2 hours or until firm.
- Once firm, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.
- Roll the balls in crushed cookie crumbs to coat.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each truffle ball into the melted white chocolate to coat thoroughly.
- Place the coated truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Allow them to set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate coating is firm.
- Optionally, dust with cocoa powder or sprinkles before serving.
