Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup pastry cream or vanilla pudding
  • Assorted fresh fruits (e.g., berries, kiwi, mango)
  • Apricot glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, softened butter, powdered sugar, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Add the egg yolk and mix until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Press the dough into the bottoms and up the sides of mini tartlet pans to shape the crusts.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely.
  6. Fill each tartlet shell with pastry cream or vanilla pudding.
  7. Arrange fresh fruits beautifully on top of the filling.
  8. Brush with apricot glaze if desired.
