Description

Quick and easy recipe for juicy pan-seared chicken breasts with a golden brown crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken breasts and sear for 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip the chicken and sear for another 6-7 minutes.
  5. Add butter and garlic, baste the chicken, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving with garnished herbs.

Notes

Make sure your pan is preheated and avoid crowding the pan. You can add lemon juice for extra flavor.
