Description

Delightful homemade Twinkies with a soft, fluffy texture and creamy filling, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Twinkies pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and milk to the butter mixture and gradually add the flour mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the Twinkies pan, filling each mold halfway and bake for about 20 minutes.
  6. Allow the Twinkies to cool completely in the pan.
  7. Whip the cream until soft peaks form, then fold in powdered sugar.
  8. Fill each cooled Twinkie with whipped cream using a piping bag or filling injector.
  9. Serve immediately or chill before serving.
