Description
Homemade Monkey Bread, also known as Cinnamon Roll Bites, is the ultimate treat that combines gooey sweetness with an irresistible pull-apart texture, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan to prevent sticking.
- In a large bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until evenly mixed.
- Cut the refrigerated cinnamon roll dough into quarters. Toss these pieces in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract together. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
- Layer the cinnamon-sugar-coated dough pieces in the greased bundt pan. Pour the melted butter mixture over the top, allowing it to seep into the dough.
- Place the bundt pan in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Allow it to cool slightly before inverting the pan onto a plate.
- Pull apart the pieces of Monkey Bread to serve while it’s still warm and gooey.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon-sugar mixture or a drizzle of cream cheese glaze after baking.
