Description

A delicious and nutritious way to satisfy your sweet tooth while meeting health goals. These protein-packed donuts are moist and perfect for a post-workout snack or breakfast.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Mix the oat flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: honey (or maple syrup), applesauce, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the greased donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before carefully removing them.
