- 1 cup oat flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup protein powder
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- Mix the oat flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Combine wet ingredients: honey (or maple syrup), applesauce, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Spoon the batter into the greased donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before carefully removing them.
