Description

A creamy and zesty dip made from fresh avocados, perfect for snacks or as a condiment.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 12 jalapeños, diced (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Add lime juice to the bowl to prevent browning. Mash the avocado with a fork or potato masher to your desired consistency.
  3. Add diced onion, tomatoes, jalapeños, salt, and cilantro if using.
  4. Stir gently until combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a condiment for other dishes.

Notes

To store leftover guacamole, transfer it to an airtight container, pressing plastic wrap directly onto the surface to limit exposure to air. Keeps for 1-2 days in the refrigerator.
