Description

These skewers are a perfect blend of sweet honey and fiery Sriracha, making them an irresistible choice for cookouts and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 23 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (soaked in water if wooden)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the cut chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or for best results, a few hours.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers.
  4. Grill each side for 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and has grill marks. Serve hot.

Notes

For more flavor, marinate longer. Use wooden skewers soaked in water to prevent burning. Ensure chicken reaches 165°F for safety. Adjust Sriracha to customize spice level.
