- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
- Cut the bread into cubes and arrange them in the prepared baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Serve warm with maple syrup and powdered sugar.
Notes
For best results, use day-old bread. Add mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts for a twist.
