Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, sift together the almond flour and powdered sugar.
- Beat the egg whites until foamy, gradually adding the granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Add the vanilla extract and food coloring, then gently fold in the almond flour mixture.
- Pipe the batter onto the prepared baking sheets, creating even circles, and let them rest for 30-60 minutes until shells form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, rotating the baking sheets halfway through, and allow to cool completely before filling.
