Description

A delightful and healthy dish featuring flaky fish in warm corn tortillas topped with fresh cabbage, zesty salsa, and creamy avocado.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Season fish fillets with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side until it flakes easily and is opaque throughout.
  3. Warm tortillas in a separate pan over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
  4. Flake the cooked fish into bite-sized pieces. Layer warm tortillas with flaked fish, shredded cabbage, salsa, and avocado slices.
  5. Serve with lime wedges on the side and squeeze lime juice over the tacos before enjoying.

Notes

Perfect for casual dinners and taco nights, offer additional toppings like tomatoes, cilantro, or jalapeños for guests to customize.
