Instructions
- Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until it’s melted and frothy.
- Crack the eggs into the skillet, taking care not to break the yolks.
- Cook the eggs until the edges are set, about 2 to 3 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
- If desired, sprinkle your choice of cheese, vegetables, or fresh herbs on top. Cook to your preferred doneness, then remove from the skillet.
- Serve the eggs warm on a plate.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. To reheat, use the microwave or a skillet over low heat, adding a splash of water.
