Description

Soft, chewy chocolate chip cookies coated in powdered sugar, resembling a winter wonderland.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamy mixture, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and roll each ball in powdered sugar. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
