- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder or chopped nuts (for coating)
Instructions
- Chop the white chocolate into small pieces and place them in a heatproof bowl.
- Heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just starts to simmer.
- Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for a minute to melt the chocolate.
- Add the vanilla extract and gently stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.
- Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or chopped nuts to coat them.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. For longer storage, freeze for up to three months.
