Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated, then form mixture into meatballs about 1-1.5 inches in diameter.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, and ground ginger.
- Place the formed meatballs into your slow cooker and pour the honey garlic sauce over them, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and set slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, serve the meatballs hot, drizzling any remaining sauce over the top and garnish with freshly chopped green onions.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or frozen for up to 3 months.
