Description
A quick and delightful dish featuring a crispy Parmesan topping over tender white fish, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 fish fillets (e.g., white fish like cod or tilapia)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper to prevent the fish from sticking.
- In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, melted butter, chopped parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Arrange the fish fillets on the prepared baking sheet, evenly spaced.
- Press a generous amount of the Parmesan mixture onto each fish fillet. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and the topping is golden brown. Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For an extra crispy topping, broil the fish for the last 2 minutes of baking. You can use frozen fish; just thaw completely before cooking.
