Description

A quick and delightful dish featuring a crispy Parmesan topping over tender white fish, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fish fillets (e.g., white fish like cod or tilapia)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper to prevent the fish from sticking.
  2. In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, melted butter, chopped parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Arrange the fish fillets on the prepared baking sheet, evenly spaced.
  4. Press a generous amount of the Parmesan mixture onto each fish fillet. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and the topping is golden brown. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For an extra crispy topping, broil the fish for the last 2 minutes of baking. You can use frozen fish; just thaw completely before cooking.
