Description

Delicious gingerbread waffles infused with warm spices and a hint of sweetness from molasses, perfect for any breakfast table.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, molasses, and vegetable oil. Whisk until smooth.

  5. Grease your waffle iron if necessary, and pour about 1/2 cup of batter into the preheated waffle iron.
