Description

Colorful and delightful Funfetti cake pops, perfect for Easter celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of Funfetti cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • 12 ounces of melting chocolate (white or colored)
  • Sprinkles for decoration
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Bake the Funfetti cake according to the package instructions and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the frosting until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls about the size of a tablespoon and insert lollipop sticks into each ball to create the pops.
  4. Place the cake pops in the refrigerator to firm up for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or a double boiler, stirring until it’s smooth and fully melted.
  6. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  7. Decorate with cheerful sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  8. Allow the cake pops to dry completely in a standing position before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Use a cookie scoop for uniform ball sizes.
