Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk together the flour and baking powder in another bowl. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and dot with sprinkles. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let the dotcakes cool in the dish for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
