Description

Delightful Easter Cookies perfect for decorating and sharing, bringing joy to your holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 cup colored sprinkles or icing for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl; set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract into the butter-sugar mixture, combining well. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls, place on prepared cookie sheets, and flatten slightly. Add sprinkles or icing on top. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before serving.

Notes

Ensure butter is at room temperature for easier creaming. Don’t overmix the dough once dry ingredients are incorporated.
