Description

Indulge in these warm, gooey double chocolate chip cookies that are rich in flavor and melt-in-your-mouth soft.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend these dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until fully incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving space between each mound. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  5. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

For thicker cookies, consider chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Use quality chocolate chips for the best flavor!
