Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large croissants
- 4 large eggs

- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (e.g., Gruyère or cheddar)
- 1/2 cup cooked ham or bacon, chopped (optional)

- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish and set it aside.

- Pour the mixture evenly over croissant pieces and let it sit for 10 minutes to soak. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden and eggs are set.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, garnish with herbs, and serve warm.
Notes
For an extra crispy top, broil for the last 1-2 minutes of baking. Use stale croissants for a better texture.
