- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in sour cream, orange juice, grated orange zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until well combined. Pour the mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for about 55-60 minutes, or until the filling is set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour.
- After cooling, allow it to cool completely at room temperature and then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, or candied orange slices for an elegant touch. This cheesecake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
