Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and bring it to a simmer.
- Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Serve warm, garnished with parsley.
Notes
Use fresh shrimp for best flavor and cook pasta al dente. Experiment with different cheeses and customize the sauce to your liking.
