- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1/4 cup peanut butter or almond butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Water as needed for consistency
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, cocoa powder, maple syrup, nut butter, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Blend the ingredients until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add water gradually until you reach the desired consistency.
- Taste the dip and adjust the sweetness if necessary. You can add more maple syrup or honey to suit your preference.
- Serve the chocolate hummus with an assortment of fruits, pretzels, or graham crackers for dipping.
