Description

Quick and easy dessert that transforms ripe bananas into a warm, sweet treat with caramelized flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas into thick rounds, about ½ inch thick.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and ground cinnamon.
  3. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat, then add the banana slices and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the warm bananas and toss to coat.

Notes

Serve over ice cream, drizzled with honey, or with pancakes. Best enjoyed fresh, but can store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
