- 2 cans cinnamon rolls
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and spread them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined. Pour this egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls.
- If desired, drizzle maple syrup over the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
- Allow to cool slightly before drizzling with icing made from powdered sugar and a little milk.
Notes
Pairs beautifully with fresh fruit, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
