Description

A delightful twist on the classic breakfast treat, transforming the gooey goodness of cinnamon rolls into a simple, shareable dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans cinnamon rolls
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and spread them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined. Pour this egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls.
  4. If desired, drizzle maple syrup over the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before drizzling with icing made from powdered sugar and a little milk.

Notes
